Sometime, something different is thrown my way. In this case, I was offered to create some songs for Syrinscape for their library of Cyberpunk music. This came to me at a fantastic moment when I was just finishing Cyberpunk 2077 the video game. Which was blowing my mind. And also inspired the songs below.
I am not a great lyricist and have never inspired to be one (as I feel my vocabulary is stunted) but I still rose to the occasion by creating these two songs. “Hyjack Your Brain” which is a nasty song about the perverted side of this cyber-hacking game and "Out Of Time" that is a simple song about the confusion on love. They both took about 3 days each to put together and an extra day to master, to try and get that wall of distorted sound you find in the game. Again, I am not a singer, so the vocals may sound out. With limited time to create these tracks, there was not a lot of time to go back and do things better. But sometimes, the first take is what was needed.
